We stock a wide range of mens grooming and styling products and with such a comprehensive selection it can be hard to to know which products are specific for which areas. We encourage you to talk to the staff if you have any questions but we also thought we could help simplify things and take some of the guess work out of it by outlining the products that our stylists prefer to use in the barbershop.
Proraso - Shaving Soaps & Foams
The Italian made shaving products from Proraso are famous the world over. Their soap is perfect for a professional lather using a brush. For home use without a brush you won’t find better than Proraso Saving Foam. There are four product series with green for everyday use, white for sensitive skin, red for thick or course beard types and blue for an added moisturising effect.
Layrite - Original Pomade
A versatile pomade that holds all day, is water-based and rinses out easily. This formula provides a medium level of hold and shine and is great for styling classic or messy wet looks. Weighing in at 120 grams it comes in a good sized jar when compared to some of the other styling products.
Uppercut Deluxe - Styling Powder
This is quickly becoming one of our go-to’s for modern, textured styles. It quickly adds texture, volume and control with a natural, matte finish. It is perfect for styling messy quiffs and longer looks and it really excels in thin or fine hair.
American Crew - Tech Series Texture Foam
Featured in the 2018 Men’s Health Grooming Awards, this foam has specialised proteins that help strengthen the hair and fixative polymers that add volume. It is a powerful way to manipulate volume, control and texture. It is kind of like mousse but on steroids.
Ned - Beard Wax
The green version dubbed ‘The Fresh One’ offers a strong hold for taming an unruly beard or moustache. Ingredients include citrus, verbena and lime which keep your mane smelling great as well as keeping it neatly in place.
Proraso - Beard Oil
The Wood and Spice variety from Proraso’s single blade series is our best seller in the Beard Oil department. We recommend this oil for all long, thick beards. It will keep your beard soft, tamed and a joy to touch.
18.20 - Man Made Wash
This 3 in 1 Body Wash, Shampoo and Conditioner is made in the U.S.A and although we don’t actually use it in the barbershop, it will make shower time at home more enjoyable. It is luxury stuff and is infused with Macadamia Glycerides, Hydrolyzed Quinoa, and Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters. It is PH-balanced to leave your hair and skin healthy and protected against free-radicals.
St. James of London - Cologne
These luxurious scents are made in England and are the perfect way to finish of your shave. They are alcohol, sulfate and paraben free. We love the Sandalwood & Bergamot and the Mandarin & Patchouli is a good selection with summer on the way.
