THE CONNECTION BETWEEN BEARD GROWTH AND SELF ACTUALISATION

September 30, 2022

So you’re ready to step up into the upper echelon of manhood and you wan’t to grow a beard? Great, because today we’re going to talk about the connection between beard growth and the fulfilment of bodily and egotistical needs so that you may progress towards the realisation of your full potential and self actualisation.

If the intro comes across as a little complicated and full on, don’t be daunted, all we are trying to communicate is that a great beard is a small step along the journey of becoming a great man.

According to humanistic psychologist Anthony Maslow, self-actualisation represents the highest order motivations, those which drive us to realise our true potential and achieve our 'ideal self’.

Basically, if you are a man who desires a beard and we’re not talking about spindly bum fluff or the little grub you once grew on your top lip for Movember, more akin to the fully fledged face fur of a viking or something that Ned Kelly would be proud of. Then you must endeavour to achieve that beard and elevate your self esteem so that you can progress onto greater achievement and fulfilment in life.

A man must climb the pyramid of needs and address: food, safety, beard, self esteem and then everything else that he is capable of becoming for self actualisation.

An humorous Adaption of Maslow's hierarchy of needs that includes beard

We know that this article is on a deeper level than our usual ramblings but we must not apologise for that, instead we ask you to ask yourself: are you a man who desires a great beard and great things? If you answer yes, then you know that we are here at Barber Industries Miranda to help you with everything that you need to achieve greatness on your beard growing and self actualising journey.

We have the knowledge, the products and are open seven days a week in Westfield Miranda.
