Layrite Deluxe

Was founded by American barber Donnie Hawley in 1999. He created a water-soluble pomade formulated to “Hold Like Wax and Wash Out Like Gel.” When one of his clients commented that his pomade was the only product that made his hair lay right, the brand was born.

We stock a wide range of products from Layrite and today this range extends well beyond just styling pomades. The daily shampoo and moisturising conditioner compliment line up of styling products. The liquid shave cream, after shave balm and concentrated beard oil are the finest for the care of a man’s face.

Slick Gorilla

Born in the UK, Slick Gorilla draws its culture from the streets and is a brand for the bold, the strong, the creators, the innovators, the independent minds and unique characters of the world.

Hands down, the best selling product from Slick Gorilla is their hair styling powder. This volumising and texturising powder was one of the first styling powders in the market and remains as one of the best. It offers a medium to strong hold, helps to create loads of texture and has a matte finish.

Proraso

Italian mastermind Piero Martelli invented the Proraso Pre-Shave Cream in 1948. It was immediately adopted by Italian barbers before spreading the world over. Today, the company is still run by the family and still makes a product line that is emblematic of highly specialised products for beard and shaving care. 

We use the Proraso line of products for professional hot towel shaves here in the barbershop and we stock the same products to be purchased for home use. There is different range to suit all skin types and the Single Blade Series includes balms and oils that come in three different scents to suit your preference.
